Dionisio Man O' War

Dionysus; the god of fruit, festivity, wine and insanity - has been fabled to rise from the depths of Atlantis alongside their colossal, man o' war companions in these brighter seasons . . . I recorded the the main riff moments prior to heading out on our trusty adventure vessel Xena, to Dionisio Pt provincial park. Here among the white sand beaches and sandstone galleries, we discussed the history and mythological naming of the area. This song is centered around the vocal loops "Zone" & "Strain" of the Poseidon Vocal pack as well as Hyperion & Shimmer FX collections to set the moody tone. I recorded the guitar samples on a classic Fender Telecaster & Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 feat. the Focusrite + Bx console, Rockrack (free) & Guitar Rig. I use Native Instruments Maschine Mk1 as my MIDI controller for playing and automating with Serum and Kontakt. Using Ableton Live Lite, I am limited to 8 tracks, so finding creative work arounds for mixing keeps me busy. Hope you like to headbang. Skoal!
