Soulblind Nighthawk

A nighthawk is a type of ghost. A ghost that keeps one up at night. Soulblind is a kenning, or compound word, wherein one may be blinded by the idea of a soulmate. Whether this is a particular individual or a vague idea is inconsequential. In this context a soulblind nighthawk refers to the nostalgia of the perfect day with a perfect love who is no longer around. Nothing can ever be perfect now, at least, that's how it seems. If I were to describe this song that is the feeling I get from it, thus the title, Soulblind Nighthawk.
