D1SC0NT3NT - GLASS (SOLSTICE Contest)

Hi, I'm D1SC0NT3NT, a 17 year old producer from the USA. For this entry I wanted to demonstrate the versatility of each and every sample from the pack by writing most of the track around a single loop. The main synth and chords in the first drop are entirely made from a granulized and sliced up instance of the piano melody from the intro. There are also numerous pieces of both vocal and ambient samples pretty much everywhere in this project. The second drop was built off of the same foundation as the first, but with different grain patterns and heavier processing, as well as added synth layers. I think I made a pretty cool song with this sample pack and will definitely be using it, as well as many other packs like it in the future. Winning this contest, though unlikely, would mean the world to me, as I am constantly trying to prove to my parents that I might have a chance in the industry.
