Thundy The Griffon - Hope After All (SOLSTICE Contest)

This is a fusion of genres. This is what I call "Symphonic Electro-Pop". The orchestral elements are what gives this piece the cinematic feel, especially the timpani and accented strings. The pop style is found in the chord progression, vi-IV-V. I flip this progression to IV-I-V-vi before the final hook. The sample this piece is based on is "Together - 126bpm G# minor" and the progression used fit perfectly. The other sample used were elements from the "Hangover" drum beat. Finally, the city soundscape was used in the intro. Don't be fooled by the voices. All but the "Yeehaw!" were AI voice conversions of my voice, yes...that is my singing/speaking voice converted to AI. To compose this piece, I used Studio One 5 Artist with my music rig, which you can find on instagram. All other sounds were played by me. The distorted lead synth you hear behind the main lead of the "Together" melody was programmed by me using my Korg Kronos.
