My entry for the KOB contest is short and sweet. I'm brand new to the beat game (I've written a bunch, but haven't finished mixing them, or setting up my business or an Instagram beat page). I felt that a lot of the stuff I was hearing (although good) felt like they lost enthusiasm, in the end, resulting in dull lyrics and songs that just dragged out. My goal is to provide short, to the point beats where rappers can focus on high-quality lyrics and hopefully they inspire some alternative flows. I'm from a metal and hardcore background but have always loved hip hop and electronic music in its various forms. I tried a few years ago (before I knew ANYTHING about mixing haha!) and have some songs I've written on my Soundcloud. The current COVID19 situation inspired me to listen to and then write beats. I'm hoping with my entry will give a fresh perspective using my influences and takes on the awesome melodies provided by Cymatics. Thank you for the opportunity and for the constant awesome work you guys do.
