Distant

Hey! So, first off, ColorMoe on Instagram designed this for me and have thanked her so much for please check her out for more vibrant art! Anyways, I worked on this for a while now and had a vision or a story towards this song, lyrics are still being made for it for the upcoming future, but this song reflects on separation, but that everything will be okay in the end. My inspiration has always been Porter Robinson and Madeon as this song reflects a lot on Sad Machine and its song pattern that I implemented into my own. I loved the second one-shot from the pack as I made it into a whistle by cutting the inner portion a bit as well as its outer tail to give it a softer attack while also making it much quieter. Sadly didn't use it on this project, but I drew inspiration from the third melody in the pack that I would then make my chords and worked around to creating my melody from it. So all that said I listened to a few songs that helped me create "Distant" and they were: The Woods/Olivver the Kid, Sad Machine/Porter Robinson, and Soul Shine/Pogo.
